I was saddened to see that the King of the Kustomizers died-George Barris.
I was fortunate to meet him at a Rolling Meadows Illinois Car show in 2010.
He was famous for creating the Bat Mobile, Munster Mobile, Beverly Hillbillies car and many other famous Hollywood movie cars. When he appeared at the show, I asked him for an autograph, he said "I don't have a pen!" I replied, "here's mine, and you can keep it ," he declined the offer and later I found out that he was signing autographs the next day for charity so he couldn't comply with my request.

SUPERCAR SATURDAY-ARBORETUM SOUTH BARRINGTON

We visited the Supercar Saturday event at Munao Fountain Plaza at the Arboretum in South Barrington, Illinois. The cars were beautiful, people were friendly and the venue was well organized. It was nice to see the Tesla roadsters and be able to speak to the owners-http://www.teslamotors.com/
Update: The K&N air and oil filters that I installed last year have performed flawlessly. Soon, I'm due for an oil change on my Suzuki Motorcycle and with K&N, I need only an open end wrench to take the filter off-really easy! I've had great success with the Castrol GTX oil as well-http://www.castrol.com/ . I'm getting 49 miles to the gallon on the motorcycle and I notice a slight power increase with the K&N air-filter. I plan to buy a K&N air filter for my wife's new Toyota Camry. These K&N filters can be washed out and recoated using a kit that they have. We recently attended the micro/mini car show in Crystal Lake Illinois. This show was recently featured in Road and Track. Here are a few pictures. The most interesting car was the Goliath.

Update: I recently installed a K&N Air Filter on my Suzuki Boulevard C50. I immediately noticed the increase in performance and mileage. This filter is guaranteed for one million miles.
